Walter Rose Lifetime Award presented to Richard (Dick) Fryer, President, IFREC Real Estate Schools
Presented at the annual awards luncheon of the Orlando Regional Realtors Association, Mr. Fryer was cited for his career achievements and longtime service to the industry and fellow REALTORS. Sara Siegel, in her presentation, stated that “this year’s award goes to an individual who has served this association long and hard. Instrumental in any of the changes you see today, this person has set the standard for educational excellence with his continued vision of high ethical practices for all Realtors and works hard to get that vision accomplished. Best known for his involvement with FREC and leading the industry in educational endeavors, this award is presented for tireless devotion and service to the industry, his community, and to the highest ideals of the Realtor organization.”

Congratulations to New Scholarship Award Winners
April, 2007
The $1000 Robert Greene Memorial Scholarship Grant has been awarded to Carly McDonah who submitted an inspiring essay.
Carly first became interested in real estate while in high school. She worked as a part time assistant for an experienced Realtor who acted as her mentor. Carly was actively involved in a Realtor Political Action Committee auction where she was able to meet other experienced real estate professions and despite her young age, she was determined to show them her capabilities and hard working ethics. She is currently enrolled at Valencia Community College but continues to work with the real estate company where she began. Additionally, she runs an extracurricular after school program for first to third graders. Her personal goal is to be a successful real estate practitioner who cares as much about her clients’ well being as she would a family member. She hopes to earn a degree in Business with an emphasis on Marketing so she can introduce new and creative marketing in Osceola County on her way to becoming a leading Realtor in the real estate industry.
Congratulations Carly and best of luck!
Second prize went to Lauren Davis of Orlando. We expect great things from Carly and Lauren!
